Hi fellow Sailor Moon fans!

I know it’s been a while since I’ve used tumblr, but with The Super Live NA tour hype going around, I’m trying to use it again. I was able to see the show in Sugarland,TX back in March and as a lifelong Sailor Moon fan, and especially being a big fan of the musicals, it was such an amazing experience.

Chatting with fellow fans, I realized there’s a whole side of this fandom that never knew about the musicals before The Super Live. If so, we eagerly welcome you to the Commyunity!

I’m more active there myself but it’s been so fun to share in all the experiences with other members who have gone to see the show.

Gosh, I don't want to pressure you into anything, having the shows AND the Bandai guests were my biggest wishes, but I have to ask: what about the other guests' footage? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I assume the guests in the full musical footage are the ones from the final show. I don't wanna be greedy, we have SO MUCH as it is and you've already done a HUGE favour and service to us all and I'm very glad! I just! have to ask 👉 👈

Hii!! Thank you for the kind ask! I’d have to say right now doing the rest is a biggg maybe. 😅

However, the guest corner part in the full show (which is day 4 2nd performance - Satomi Okubo and Saki Matsuda) is translated, so that’s total 3 of the 8 guest corners.

Wish I had a better answer for you but if Akiko is up to it at some point then we’ll get it out there! Thank you again!

Hi there! Im thinking we will probably get around to this years Nogimyu. Can’t say for sure when, but I’ll be aiming to snag the Blu-ray of it. As for Super Live, unfortunately there has not been an full release of the show. Just mostly media clips and recordings from the ending concert/curtain call stuff, so we can’t do a release. No matter how much we want to :(


Chronicle is in the proof reading stage and I was making good progress when life decided to explode on me this month. Got me all over the place lol. Hoping for a calm moment to get back to it soon! I really had wanted to get it out so I’ll be making a push once things calm down a bit. 😊

I was wondering: are you planning on subbing the Kaguya Hime's Beloved myu? Or since they (miraculously) streamed a subbed version that's not happening? I wonder if they will stream it again later this year, since they streamed nogi twice...

We got quite a few asks on this so I’ll answer yours and call it a day. Unfortunately the answer is…wishy washy. I haven’t talked much with Akiko about subbing Kaguya and since there were official subs streamed, it seems there isn’t a need currently. However, seeing that it’s been over a year since it’s release and almost a year since the official streams with no news on a way to get the official subs outside of 🏴‍☠️ methods, then there may be a need to fill at some point. I just can’t give a definite answer at the point.

If we do, well certainly update here, the website and in our Discord server (which is a really great way to keep in touch with me if you ever have questions!)

Hello everyone!

Small update/check in. I’m so very sorry it’s been forever since I’ve updated our Tumblr. I’m also sincerely sorry for having missed any asks or questions sent our way. Apparently I haven’t been getting the email notifications like I used to, but I think I’ve figured that issue out and should be able to get those from now on.

As far as future projects and updates go, the site is essentially on an indefinite hiatus in terms of future projects or translations. If we have time and are able to do new things, we certainly will! However currently with mine and Akiko’s personal lives and other commitments we have, we do not have the time to dedicate to translations and site updates like we used to.

That said, SeaofSerenity.net isn’t going anywhere! I planned for the site to eventually be a static site that will be around as long as I’m around (and I hope to have a successor plan down the road but that’s a long time from now to think about) for those to have access to our fan translations.

Today we release our double release of “Sailor Moon Musical - Nogizaka 46 Version” both Team Moon and Team Star. In this musical featuring members of Nogizaka as the Sailor Guardians, we’re taken back to the beginning and for the first time ever the awakening of each Sailor Guardian is shown in a musical. Usagi Tsukino, an ordinary girl meets a black cat named Luna who changes her world forever when Usagi is forced to fight Queen Beryl and the Dark Kingdom as the Guardian of Love and Justice, Sailor Moon.

1993 Summer - Spin-off - The Dark Kingdom Resurrection Chapter

This musical acts as an alternate sequel to the first season of the original 1990′s anime. This is the show that started it all debuting actors and actresses who would go on to be involved in the Bandai produced Sailor Moon musicals for many years. This show also features the only BanMyu which includes Luna and Artemis in the cast.

This musical is the first Sera Myu show to debut in 1993. It is also the first musical for Anza Ohyama as Sailor Moon, as well as the popular first Sailor Mercury actress, Ayako Morino. This is the show that starts it all and many of the cast go one to be involved in later Bandai produced Sailor moon musicals. This musical acts as a direct sequel to the first season of the original anime, being the only musical to directly relate to the anime series and have direct references to it. This is also the only musical where Luna and Artemis were characters in the story.  Neither of the cats are cast in a Sailor Moon musical until 25 years later with the Nogizaka 46 x Sailor Moon musical project, which has Luna in the form of a puppet.

It’s kaiteiban (revision) was unfortunately never released on VHS or DVD, so this is the only version of the musical that is available to watch.

Usagi and her friends are looking forward to their upcoming summer vacation, hoping it to be filled with lots of fun and romance. However, Usagi has a dream where Queen Beryl declares the revival of the Dark Kingdom. Luna is rightful upset, as Usagi’s dreams and premonitions come true. Ami, Rei, Mako and Minako are skeptical but soon the resurrection of the Dark Kingdom becomes apparent. Once again, the Sailor Soldiers much return to D Point in order to save Tuxedo Mask from Queen Beryl and the Four Heavenly Kings.

Can Usagi and her friends save Mamoru and the Earth or will the Dark Kingdom’s plans actually come to fruition…?
