I know it’s been a while since I’ve used tumblr, but with The Super Live NA tour hype going around, I’m trying to use it again. I was able to see the show in Sugarland,TX back in March and as a lifelong Sailor Moon fan, and especially being a big fan of the musicals, it was such an amazing experience.
Chatting with fellow fans, I realized there’s a whole side of this fandom that never knew about the musicals before The Super Live. If so, we eagerly welcome you to the Commyunity!

I forgot to mention Fumio Osano (Sailor Moon manga editor/manager) and Kanae Yumemiya (Sailor Moon from The Super Live) will be at Anime Expo 2019, in Los Angeles, at the Kodansha Comics/Vertical Comics booth.
The Sailor Moon website mentions a talk show with Osano but also a photo session…so I guess Kanae will be in costume? They don’t say it, but it’s the option that makes more sense to me XD But anyway. No further details of their appearance were disclosed yet.
Anime Expo 2019 will be happening during July 4 to 7.

<< According to wikimoon’s counting, if you put together the revival shows (up to The Super Live) with the classic musicals (check seramyuantics for the pics) there have been 999 performances of Sailor Moon Musicals in Japan so far!!! Add to that the international performances of Petite Étrangère and TSL (11 total) and we get over ONE THOUSAND myu performances!!!!
So yeah, the mark was actually hit last year - I completely missed that! XD But anyway…Here’s to the amazing longest living incarnation of Sailor Moon out there: Sera Myu!!! >>
