Sailormoon-official.com has announced an updated on the 2019 New Musical Project. As you can see with a quick Google translate, the story will be based on the The Lover of Princess Kaguya short story which we all know was also the basis for the Sailor Moon S movie.

With this announcement, they have also pushed back the date to summer 2020.

Nogizaka46 Ver - TeamSTAR ~ Sailor Moon (title pending)

This is Usagi’s transformation into Sailor Moon and her introduction song! The medley of this song is reused throughout the show to introduce the other Sailor Soldiers, eventually building into a full “We are the Sailor Guardains” type song.

Things that are amazing about this sequence: Sailor Moon’s transformation and Tuxedo Mask teaching Sailor Moon how to fight.

That’s about it for the clips I will do from Team Star. I just plan to post a bit from the Encore and maybe one or two from Team Moon because I don’t wanna spoil the whole thing! ;D

Nogizaka46 Ver - TeamSTAR ~ the Wake Up Song (or as I fondly call it Chiririn Chiririn).  

This song directly follows the opener, that was posted here. This one might be one of my favorites from the whole show. It’s just so cute and catchy! I also love that the dancers and singers in this are Usagi’s bedroom items.

I had been thinking about posting a few of the songs from the NogiMyu to show to those who hadn’t watched it yet and to get a glimpse at what Nogimyu has to offer!  This is the opener to the musical in which I will call “Kira Kira” (or Sparkle, Sparkle or Glitter, Glitter…since kira kira is just a sound effect, I’ll stick with the romanized kira kira) until we get offical materials that say other wise (I’m looking at you DVD release). xD

This song gets used throughout the musical so in this case I guess it would be “Kira kira - Part 1″ or maybe “Kira Kira (Overture)”?  I hate to give it a name since we don’t have anything official yet. :/

We are happy to announce our newest release: Le Mouvement Final.  This is the 5th and final of the new musical projects that began with 2013′s La Reconquista. Le Mouvement Final tells the story of the series’ fifth arc regarding Eternal Sailor Moon’s battle against Sailor Galaxia and her Shadow Galactica.

At a music festival appearance with popular idol group Three Lights, an enemy Sailor Guardian appears searching for mysterious Star Seeds. Disaster after disaster strikes, and Sailor Moon faces trials and tribulations like she never has before. With new allies, and new enemies, the true path forward becomes bewildering, and behind it all lies something even more mysterious and sinister…

This musical features numbers including “Wandering Stars”, “Watashitachi wa Shitteiru” “Saigo no Kibou”, “My Guiding Light” and “Mata Hitotsu ni Nareta”.
