The musicals introduce an interesting dynamic when the Guardian Soldiers meet Uranus and Neptune for the first time. Usagi’s willingness to trust them is at odds with Makoto and Rei’s hardline of taking no chances while Minako and Ami remain stuck in the middle wanting to wait how things turn out.
