Sailor Moon Trivia: Tuxedo Mask x Tuxedo Mask 

A strange case of Tuxedo Mask kisisng a character named after Tuxedo Mask.

Here is a scene from the drama series Hanazakari no Kimitachi e Ikemen♂Paradise (For You In Full Blossom: Hunk♂Paradise) — that’s the 2007 Japanese version if you’re looking for it.

Astute Sailor Moon fans may pick up that on a rather odd coincidence, actor Yuu Shirota (as Makoto Kagurazaka) who played Tuxedo Mask in the Mugen Gakuen K ~ Shin Kaguya musicals here kisses Shun Oguri’s character Sano Izumi (or at least TV-kissing). The character of Sano Izumi is coincidentally named after the first actor for Tuxedo Mask in the musicals Mizuki Sano, Mizuki being the name of the other main character to match.

On another note, Yu Shirota is also believed to have dated Keiko Kitagawa, who played Sailor Mars in the live-action series, how Usagi, Marina or Miyuu feel about that is unconfirmed.
