Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon - The (NEW) Super Live
Due to popular demand, the London run has been extended!
Starring Yui Yokoyama as Sailor Moon, The Super Live will be alternating between two theaters in London from February 4th to March 19th, 2025 totaling 43 performances!!! This is one of the longest runs in Sailor Moon musical history, made all the more impressive that it’s happening abroad!

Gosh, I don't want to pressure you into anything, having the shows AND the Bandai guests were my biggest wishes, but I have to ask: what about the other guests' footage? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I assume the guests in the full musical footage are the ones from the final show. I don't wanna be greedy, we have SO MUCH as it is and you've already done a HUGE favour and service to us all and I'm very glad! I just! have to ask 👉 👈

However, the guest corner part in the full show (which is day 4 2nd performance - Satomi Okubo and Saki Matsuda) is translated, so that’s total 3 of the 8 guest corners.

Hi there! Im thinking we will probably get around to this years Nogimyu. Can’t say for sure when, but I’ll be aiming to snag the Blu-ray of it. As for Super Live, unfortunately there has not been an full release of the show. Just mostly media clips and recordings from the ending concert/curtain call stuff, so we can’t do a release. No matter how much we want to :(
Chronicle is in the proof reading stage and I was making good progress when life decided to explode on me this month. Got me all over the place lol. Hoping for a calm moment to get back to it soon! I really had wanted to get it out so I’ll be making a push once things calm down a bit. 😊
EDIT on Jan 3rd: SORRY. I couldn’t stand how many mistakes I see in my edit despite multiple checks I’ve done before Jan 1st… I ended up reuploading the videos instead. Can’t guarantee it’s perfect now, but it’s much better (from the creator’s perspective.) Anyone who reblogged before Jan 3rd will have the old link that’s now broken.
This is the TV version, aired on CBC in Japan on December 25th, 2023.
Due to YouTube’s upload length limit, the show has been split into 3 parts based on the provided commercial breaks. The videos are unlisted on YouTube, so cannot be searched, instead only accessed by the proper web link.
Some notes & disclaimer:
1. I’m not a fluent Japanese speaker, but I do know Hiragana, Katakana, basic Japanese grammar and kanji, and a few good tools to use for translation. All’s to say, all mistakes are mine. Sorry if there’s any!
2. I’m also not a professional translator. Due to the grammar differences between Japanese and English, some sentences will sound awkward in English for the conversation to make sense.
3. This really was a casual chat for the ladies, so they kept talking over each other. I tried to highlight all the chit-chats with colour-coded subtitles matching their Senshi colours. Because of this I tried different formatting and decided on the layout you see now, even if it’s still a bit messy, and some subtitles are quite fast-paced. Sorry if it doesn’t look good or is tough to read. :(
4. The character “会”(kai) in “戦士会” (senshi-kai) can be translated into: - “Club”, a noun for group; - “Meetup” or “reunion”, a noun and synonym for “event”. Depending on context, you will see “戦士会” (senshi-kai) translated into “Senshi Club” or “Senshi Reunion.”
A Director’s Cut version will be made available in Japan on Jan 9, 2024. I’ll keep an eye out if there’s a copy floating around. If there’s any difference in that version, I’ll also make a subtitled version for sharing as well. If there are any translation mistakes I’ve made in this current round of subtitling, I’ll also take the chance to rectify them in the new version.

Hi! Actually I just got a hold of BDRips from a kind donor. The downside is my personal PC is currently dead and no ETA on fixing it due to funds/time. :( However my girlfriend is able to use her MacBook to edit subs so I’ll be able to eventually retime the subtitles and get them up. I just don’t have an ETA.
Thanks for offering to share! If you ever come across raws of anything available in places, don’t hesitate to let me know as I just kind of like collecting raws of SM stuff to have. xD

Life has been more chaotic than I expected so that is why I’ve been MIA but Super Live and Chronicle DVD have summoned me to do more translations! Q: What do you remember of being selected to be part of the Sailor Moon musicals?
When I heard that I was cast as Sailor Moon, it felt really unbelievable. But then due to corona, I had to wait a year before that news could be shared so it didn’t feel very real at all. But finally when i went to costume fitting, I really got the feeling that I have become Sailor Moon.
Q: If you ever have to fight villains like Sailor Moon and her friends, what would be your fighting style?
Manipulating thunder like Sailor Jupiter, making them feel so much regret that it’ll leave them numb lol. Supreme Thunder!!! And I also yearn to fight with huge items like Sailor Pluto and Sailor Saturn!
Q: A few words about the character you play.
She is clumsy but also strong, energetic, honest and a very hardworking girl. I will always admire her. I’m really happy to play character who is loved by many people! I will do my best for Sera Myu Fes(Chronicle) as well!!

She has also appeared in movies and played the role of a heroine’s childhood self.
